Bedrooms
The house has 6 Bedrooms: 4 large rooms for Doubles and King Size, including a Four Poster bed, plus 2 single rooms: one larger and one smaller, containing bunk beds plus room for a cot.
There are 3 bathrooms: one en-suite shower room, one upstairs shower / bath and a large downstairs shower room. In addition, there’s an extra outside shower for those who can’t wait and have come home, exhausted, in their wetsuit.
From upstairs, there are views down the hill to the main town, the Towans (sand dunes) and across Trevassack’s field. From south west facing windows you can see the tidal ‘Pool’ at Hayle.
Downstairs
The 7 rooms downstairs include a spacious Kitchen, with range cooker and seating for 10; a Sitting Room with two very large sofas, screen and wood burner; a large Snug / Library, with wood burning stove and baby grand piano; another sitting / dining room with a Utility Room and a Conservatory with views across to Penwith’s hills and Towans (sand dunes) towards St Ives, including the iconic three hills of Trencrom (Iron Age hill fort), Trink and Knill’s monument on Worvas hill at St. Ives.
Three of the living rooms feature log burners, for cosy winter breaks, or warming up after a swim or surf.
Outside
An elevated lawn garden, overlooking Hayle, bordered by shrubs leads onto a large field for you and your children to use.
There’s a sheltered courtyard and storage for your bicycles and surf boards
